9 Years

Dave took these pictures of the babies taking a nap in our bed. The most fitting part about the picture is that far off in the distance there is a framed picture of me holding Brie. I look at that picture every night as I lay down in bed. Yesterday was 9 years since we had our beautiful baby Brie. Just the other day I was holding a baby close (can't remember which one), there was beautiful music in the background, and then Ash showed me the start to a sketch Dave had done (and then started over on a new page) of Brie that she had found. That was the perfect storm for the flood gates to open and I went back in my mind to 9 long years ago to our special times with Brie.

I already knew it, but it was confirmed in my heart that nothing will ever replace the aching in my heart to have Brie with us. Not even two precious twin girls that have brought indescribable joy to my heart.
It's harder to tell the babies apart when they are sleeping. The top sleeping baby is Audrey and then Anna.
Dave took the older girls out for a little shooting. Not sure who loves it more - Dave or the girls.

Sleepy girls while watching conference today. Anna and Audrey.
I had Audrey on my shoulder and then Anna just snuggled up and is sliding Audrey's pajamas off her shoulder. :)
Love the picture of Nate sitting in the boppy while reading with a baby snuggled up.
Sadie got Anna dressed up in this snuggly sweatshirt. They are little dolls!

Sadie was really set on having a bottle drinking race. So they filled 3 bottles up with water and had me time them to see who could finish the bottle first. For the record, Ash won. Their mouths were all tired and they couldn't believe how much work it took.

Such a sweet wonderful family. I can't believe how big your babies' eyes are - they are just darling! And how fun to have big sisters and brother to help out. Love you all!
